Courtney Armen
Events Experience
Courtney has been planning events since 2007. After planning a few small scale events, Courtney found her passion and embarked on her events career with an internship with Hello Florida!, a destination management company. This was the foot in the door she needed, and she quickly moved to the Naples Zoo as the Director of Group Sales where she planned a variety of events including weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, and community events. Taking her knowledge of logistics and sales learned at the Zoo, Courtney founded CocoLuna Events in 2014.
Performing Arts Background
Courtney has a background in performing arts, and that has led her to view each event she produces as a performance art. She believes in creating an inviting atmosphere to set the tone and a focus on details and flow to create memories. Courtney plans in a way to immerse you and your guests in an one of a kind experience.
Fun Facts about Courtney:
She was born and raised in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C.
She was home schooled during high school to allow more time for the study of harp and ballet.
Courtney is extremely passionate about animals, especially her three German Shepherds, Sophie, Amelia, and Jaxson. Because of her love of animals, wildlife, and conservation, she has worked for National Wildlife Federation and Naples Zoo.
Her favorite animals are bats (seriously, they are sky puppies – look up bat eating a grape…you’re welcome).
